Ok everybody! We are going to work together, adventure together, learn together... so let's get to know each other just a little bit more!
You must tell everyone in our class something about yourself that will help us understand you as we continue on our journey together.

Hi, my name is Linda. I am very afraid of the wilderness, the creatures living in it, insects, etc. I am not one to try anything daring, as I like to feel safe and comfortable. I am negative a lot of the time, although I do try to be positive. I am very grateful and appreciative of warm food and clothing, especially in British Columbia (Because it's cold). I will despite all these things do my best on these trips, as I am really looking forward to winning all the Jelly-Bellies (I assume this is correct spelling because I don't know what they are) in the poker game. I do not believe in Fish Oil, and other such homeopathic items. I love my cat. As a child I couldn't stand shoes and now, I can't stand the idea of having dirty feet. Etc. That's all I can think of.
ReplyDeleteWhen doing these types of adventures I tend to be a little cautious and apprehensive at first. But after I start to feel more comfortable I like to push myself out of my comfort zone. I have always liked to have fun and go on adventures, my cousin always used to say I was "free spirited" and had "no worries" but I don't know if thats always true for me. I have never camped like this before because my family are not the outdoor types. I have only gone on trips with my Grandma in her motorhome with all the comforts of home so this is very new to me.

I used to be very much against these types of outdoor stays, I thought it was boring and would rather be playing Star Wars or Lego. But my dad took us on a few camping trips since then and I learned to appreciate the outdoors more. Things like mountain biking and skiing have got me more accustomed to the outdoors, and now I look forward to opportunities to do it with people (that's you guys). I've never done a multi-night camping trip, nor have I hiked with all the gear and everything, so this should be an interesting experience.
ReplyDeleteok, I'm zale. I came from China. I have been to canada for 3 year. To be honest, I have never experience this kind of activity before. Through this course I could go out and get some fresh air instead of staring at my homework or computer everyday. I think this gonna be funny (hopefully). I'm looking forward to our trips.
